That's not my Duck!
Nursery had a mysterious delivery - A box of five eggs!
No one knew what was inside, so we had to have a good think about what we thought came from eggs. Our ideas included dinosaurs, alligators, unicorns, and chocolate! We did lots of research about animals that did and did not come from eggs.
A few days later, we noticed a few cracks in the eggs and realised whatever was inside was starting to hatch. We were so lucky to watch the first egg hatch just before we went home to find out they were ducklings!
The following week we had a great time watching the ducklings grow, waddle and even swim! We took great care of them by feeding them, making sure they had water and being gentle.
