Proud to Belong

I am delighted to welcome you to our website which provides a range of information about the school.

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of The Mead Infant and Nursery School and look forward to welcoming you to our school.

Here at The Mead Infant and Nursery School we pride ourselves on the fact that we see each child as unique with their own strengths and personality. Our dedicated and talented team work hard to develop the children’s individuality as well as providing for their particular needs.  We are a school where everyone counts and is “Proud to Belong”.

We offer a high quality learning environment in which children are happy and love to learn. Great importance is placed on achieving a balance between high academic standards and the personal, social and emotional development of our children.

We do have high expectations of all the members of our Mead family and are very proud of our achievements. We are a centre of excellence which offers an outstanding start to your child’s education.

We work closely with parents and welcome them into school. We know that children learn best when school and home work together for their benefit and we are committed fully to this partnership.

I hope that you find this website a useful starting point. This really is a very special place and I would encourage you to come and visit and find out why we truly are……. Proud to Belong!
