Surrey County Council is the admission authority for school places at The Mead Infant and Nursery School. Nursery Admissions

Admissions to our Nursery are managed by the school and not Surrey County Council. Children are eligible to join our Nursery in the September after their third birthday.

Nursery Admissions Intake for September 2027

Children who are born between 1^st September 2023 and 31^st August 2024 are eligible to join our Nursery in September 2027.

Nursery Admissions Intake for January 2027 Intake - 5 Terms

We do not offer a formal January intake. A January intake will only take place if we have been unable to fill all Nursery places in our September 2026 intake.

Children who are born between 1^st September 2023 and 31^st December 2023 are eligible to apply for this intake.

Please note, children born between 1^st September 2023 and 31^st December 2023 will remain in our Nursery from January 2027 – July 2028 (5 Terms).

If you are interested in a January 2027 intake please click the link below, register and complete our nursery application. The deadline for applying for a January 2027 space is 1st November 2026.

In Year Nursery Admissions

Children who are born between 1^st September 2022 and 31^st August 2023 are eligible to apply.

If you would like to apply for your child to join our Nursery before or after our January 2027 intake, please contact the school office.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no automatic transfer from Nursery to Reception. Children attending our Nursery must apply to Surrey County Council for a Reception place at the relevant time.
