School Admissions

Surrey County Council is the admission authority for school places at The Mead Infant and Nursery School. Nursery Admissions

Admissions to our Nursery are managed by the school and not Surrey County Council. Children are eligible to join our Nursery in the September after their third birthday.

Nursery Admissions Intake for September 2026

Children who are born between 1^st September 2022 and 31^st August 2023 are eligible to join our Nursery in September 2026.

Nursery Admissions Intake for January 2026 Intake

We do not offer a formal January intake. A January intake will only take place if we have been unable to fill all Nursery places in our September 2025 intake.

Children who are born between 1^st September 2021 and 31^st December 2022 are eligible to apply for this intake.

Please note, children born between 1^st September 2022 and 31^st December 2022 will remain in our Nursery from January 2026 – July 2027 (5 Terms).

If you are interested in a January 2026 place, please ensure you complete the September 2026 application form by 15^th October 2025.

Nursery 26/27 Application Form

In Year Nursery Admissions

Children who are born between 1^st September 2021 and 31^st August 2022 are eligible to apply.

Applications for the September 2025 intake have now passed.

If you would like your child to apply for our January 2026 intake, please apply by selecting 'Nursery 26/27 Application Form'.

If you would like to apply for your child to join our Nursery before or after our January 2026 intake, please contact the school office.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no automatic transfer from Nursery to Reception. Children attending our Nursery must apply to Surrey County Council for a Reception place at the relevant time.
