To end the autumn term, the whole school worked on a shared reading and writing project based on Nick Sharratt’s new picture book “Oh No! Shark in the Snow!” To start off the event Nick Sharratt visited our school virtually. He read to the children “Oh No! Shark in the Snow!” and taught them how to draw some of the pictures from his other famous picture books.
On Friday 5th November, we had our Sensational Starter for our Great Fire of London topic in Year 2.
Diwali celebrations in Nursery went with a bang!
Reception were really excited about diwali.
We enjoyed a lovely Harvest assembly, where we gave thanks and the children sang songs beautifully. Mrs Creasey was very proud.
Year Two were super excited to be able to visit The London Eye.
Today, reception were lucky enough to have Jonathan the palaeontologist come to visit with some dinosaur fossils.
We started off this celebration by coming into school dressed as superheroes!
Today was National Poetry Day.
