If your child needs to take any medications during the school day, as part of a care plan or in an emergency, you will need to fill in and return one or more of our medical forms to the school office either in person or by email. You may also be required to fill out a health care plan depending on the nature of the condition.

Please note we can only administer prescribed medicines, and we only administer antibiotics that have been prescribed 4 times a day. A 3-times a day course of antibiotics can be administered either side of the school day.

POINTS TO REMEMBER

• Do not send your child in with medication in their bag. All medication must come via the school office.
• We will only administer prescribed medication.
• Please collect all medication bottles/packets once the course has been completed and dispose of them at home.
