School Tours

Reception and Nursery

We are pleased to invite families to attend one of our upcoming school tours for children due to start Nursery or Reception in September 2027.

Eligibility for September 2027 Entry

  • Nursery: Children born between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024.
  • Reception: Children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023.

Nursery Admissions - January 2027 Intake (5 Terms)

Children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 December 2022 are also eligible to apply for our January 2027 Nursery intake.

Please note that children joining this intake will remain in our Nursery from January 2027 until July 2028, completing a total of five terms before starting school.

Many children who attend The Mead progress to Auriol Junior School in Year 3. We are pleased to offer the opportunity to visit Auriol Junior School following your tour of The Mead. A member of staff will accompany visitors to Auriol once the Mead tour has concluded.

Important Information

  • Tours are limited to 40 people per session.
  • Tours are for adults only.
  • The tour of The Mead will last approximately one hour.
  • If you also choose to visit Auriol Junior School, please allow additional time.
  • Pre-booking is essential, as places are limited.
  • Tours are intended only for families with children eligible to start Nursery or Reception in September 2027.

2 Year Old Nursery

For parents who are interested in 2 year old nursery admissions. A separate tour date will be held – further information to follow.

Parking

Please be aware that parking restrictions are in place on roads surrounding the school. Where possible, we encourage visitors to walk to school. If you need to drive, please allow sufficient time to park a short distance away and walk to the school site.
