Yr Two Fire Safety
On Thursday 17th March we were lucky to have Abi Robertson from Surrey Fire and Rescue visit Year 2 to talk to us about fire safety.
Children listened intently to Abi talking about the variety of tasks that firefighters perform, and they learned the mantra Get Out, Stay Out and Call the Fire Service Out! Children were also able to rehearse the 999 call they would make if they needed help putting out a fire, and they learned about possible fire hazards in the home. It was a very informative and engaging session in which the children learned a lot.
